Topic: Black Heart 15/7 watt amp...
Has any one played one of these. I am thinking of getting one. From what I've read they are great sounding amps for the money.

I have the 3/5watt little giant. Great wee amp, I only use it for in the house, wanted a good sound at low volumes. The overdrive isn't great on it, plus the volume needs to be at around 8 before it properly breaks up. So a good OD pedal is needed by me. Bring on the fulldrive 2

I recieved the amp and got it home...As great tone...But can't figure out were the buzzing is coming from at high volumes on the E string. Checked the tubes...checked the speaker...cant figure it out...I think I am going to send it back for another...:-(

Check the tube covers and make sure the tubes are inserted firmly into their sockets. That's more often than not the guilty part.

I had this problem with the little giant. The ECC83 in my blackheart was rattling. I removed it and replaced it with a JJ valve...problem solved. They're crap valves! Get them changed and it'll be all good

Thanks for your help guys...I tried reseating the tubes and it still buzzes. I sent it back and they have another coming. If this one does the same thing I'll re-tube with a JJ. I was going to retube it anyway...But I didn't want to start out troubling shooting bad speakers...lose chassis and so on...
