Topic: Shameless plug - Dunc's Blues

I've just set up a new facebook page where I will be sharing music reviews, and chatting more proactively about music. There is a link on my signature, I hope you will join me. I've felt a little constrained on facebook until now, as I originally set it up to keep in touch with friends and family, particularly those of long distances, yet I've been a bit guilty of ignoring them and indeed missing some important events which I'm a little ashamed of. This is my own fault as I get sidelined into all the exciting things my music friends have been up to. So my dilemma was how do I keep in touch with my friends and family from my life to date without tiring them of my musical interests yet also enjoy the virtual company of all the friends I have made through music?

The answer for me at this time was to set up an exciting new facebook page where I could chat and discuss music freely, accept as many friends as I like and also have a more private facebook profile with less friends for the others. Anyway hopefully it will work! And with all this time on two facebook pages you'll probably see me a little less around here! smile

I've started posting some reviews I done on some modern blues albums that I love, there will be other things like my impressions from live concerts and other things in the future. I'm sure many of you will help me keep it interesting. Also please turn a blind eye if you do drop off my other profile, I need to work at certain things there.

PS Well done to Ges, who discovered my new page before anyone else - so much so he sat in my pending friend requests for nearly a month! smile big_smile

Yes, me too. The idea is different, but we'll see how it goes! cheers! big_smile

By the way I won't be randomly killing all my friendships on my existing facebook page (except for those whom I don't know), instead I may make some less prominent in my news feed.
