Topic: Gibson or Epi? What's the better deal?

Hey guys,

I found some deals on Craigslist, but wondering if I should pull the trigger.

'99 Gibson LP jr (two p-90's) double cutaway faded $500

or

Epiphone Les paul jr. (dog ear p-90) bolt on neck $70

Looking for a slide guitar. What's the better deal?

The Gibson hands down - that particular epi is firewood.  Those faded's actually rock.  Hmmm... maybe I should go buy one - always like the yellow ones.

I tried some of the Epis. A '56 Goldtop was a Killer with the soapbars.
I really liked that one. Had a good playability and sound.
But I also tried a Epi Slash sig. That was nothing but firewood...
Also I played a '91 Gibson LP Std which was a dead piece of wood.
Its like always. You need to try... hmm
