Topic: Winter Namm

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but Joe did you find anything interesting at Winter Namm?

Also, looks like you had a blast at the CLB!!  Did you golf or just play the show??

Re: Winter Namm

That Albert Lee EBMM looks good. Is It me or Joe is moving from Gibson to EBMM one more step every day?

Re: Winter Namm

Could be, the BP AL HHH, is suppose to be magical.  EBMM isn't a bad company to be associated with, they make instruments for artists.  I have a feeling that Joe would be happy there if he made the change.

Joe said as much he loves the MM guitars but he feels happy in the Gibson family.
So I doubt a JBMM so soon....

Re: Winter Namm

Grudges aside, its a good go to when you want a strat style look and feel without it being a Fender.

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

Re: Winter Namm

It's all good man, Gibby are good too.

Yah I read the problems that Joe had with Fender, I'm sure EBMM is happy he's using their stuff in place of Fenders.

Re: Winter Namm

Gibsons are great and it must be a tremendous honor to have your own signature Gibson.  The ONLY difference that I see with Joe's model is that it was very limited edition.  It seems that Gibson is very cautious about releasing permanent or mainstay signature models.  Look at Fender, they have the Jeff Beck, Yngwie, Clapton, and SRV Strats in no short supply.  Look at all of the phenoms on the Gibson side of things: Warren Haynes, Billy Gibbons, Joe Bonamassa, Slash (eh he's okay I guess tongue ), Jimmy Page...the list goes on and on.  All limited edition, nothing for the average musician only the collectors.  No offense to Joe, because his signature is one of the more affordable ones but at $3500 + it's too much for my budget and is too much for me to feel comfortable gigging with.  I would LOVE to see Joe get a signature model Ernie Ball.  John Petrucci, Steve Morse, Albert Lee, and Steve Lukather all have killer signature models that are not limited edition and are reasonable.  I find killer deals on used Petruccis and Morse models all the time...
