What a fascinating link Brack. The explanations of the creative process and hassles with the clients are very cool, and the art is incredible. I never appreciated the covers of some of my favorite music as much as I do now.  cool

If you can still grab a copy of Classic Rocks recent issue they had a 2010 calender of his work.

Called 'The Variants - a calender for 2010 of album cover variations' by Storm Studios.

As a freebie it's pretty neat piece of work.

My favourite is still 'tree of life' which is the avatar I use.  Storm Thorgerson, he is totally 'out there' - somewhere.

Storm Thorgerson new book, Mind Over Matter 4 - The Images of Pink Floyd.
Some of the most well known and Iconic images we can all identify with.
So i have decided to use the most iconic, as an avatar. I remember going to buy the album. Then went to see them perform it live! Not just a piece of work, a piece of art  as well.

Yes, that was a landmark series of albums. I made a special effort to take my pre-teen children to a concert during the Wall tour. One remarked to me recently that he vividly remembers it and he was about 8. I related that the reason I took them was so they could tell their children they were there. smile

Well, He is a certified Bonaholic, played shred metal on his git as a teen, and enjoys all types of music done well just like his dad. I exposed all 3 to music of all types from classical to rock from an early age. They had a well rounded musical education.

I grew up in a musical family, mother played piano, dad violin, I played cello, sister flute. Quartets arranged by mom at home. Figured I should pass it on.

We had a piano in the house, dad played sometimes. I learnt to play drums, my brother and a cousin play guitar.
