Raiders win Super Bowls

The Browns win Pooper Bowls.  Could the color of the team and the Bowl be more well suited for each other.

Never took the Colts. No love lost there from Chargers fans either.

By the way, I was thinkin', if moral victories counted, The Chargers would have 3 rings too! cool

Looks like Manning is in control now.

Well I gotta admit you lead the forum league in spitefulness hands down. The color analogy is cute and I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard that one. Browns fans are a tough lot having seen good times and bad, but what team hasn't? I'm down with the Saints cuz no franchise has seen more misery than them not to mention what the people of New Orleans have endured since Katrina. Geez the Haitians got more help from our government quicker than they did in the "Big Easy". Don't stop dishin' it out, it keeps me grounded.

Yea, I'm happy.

Premature at this point, but I suspect the Colts will be favored.

Unfortunately, I will be traveling for work on Superbowl Sunday so I'll miss the first EVER Saints Superbowl appearance.

Oh well, karma works that way.

I'll make sure I get a rental car with Sirius/XM so I can listen to the game

Re: The NFL - National Football League

I wouldn't be so sure about who's favored. If they win the turnover war again, they'll do it. Seems to me that Brett has a mistrust of placekickers, so take it and smile. The Colt's D isn't nearly as ferocious as the Vike's. Stranger things have happend in the big game.

Big Party in the Quarter tonight!

Re: The NFL - National Football League

Little known fact I heard during the Colts game last week. Indy was dead last in rushing, so If the Saints find a way to stifle their pass attack or at least throttle it down this could go the Saints way.

Re: The NFL - National Football League

Peyton Manning is one of the BEST of the Best, it will be a hard team to beat, but I'm hoping the Saints come marching in!!!

Rockfarmer...about that karma...

My hubby's college basketball team made it to the final four on our wedding day and the game was on during our reception.  Against odds, they made it to the final (equiv. to super bowl)  and we were on a flight to Italy for our honeymoon and he couldn't watch the game. At one point, after some champagne from the stewardess to calm him down since he was missing the game, but suppose to be celebrating with his bride, roll , he said, I think there gonna' win 'cause I can't watch them!!! And they did win, also it was April Fools Day.  It is still considered one of the biggest upsets in college basketball...and that was 25 years ago!

One of our employees who worked with us for 20 years moved to New Orleans in July.  Her husband is a civil engineer of many years and was head hunted to manage a job of rebuilding the levees.  She sent me some recent photos, I was really surprised at how some areas still need so much work!!  Just one of the few reasons I'm rooting for the Saints...

When the Saints Come Marching In.... smile  Good Luck!!

Yes they are favored by 4 and some places already jumped it to 4 & 1/2. The over/under started @ 56, the highest in Super Bowl history.

Yeah right, Jdawg. roll Like nobody's ever said, 'hey, the key is to stop Peyton passing...' big_smile Not much success so far, huh?

The Jets kept him 'quiet' for almost a half, but once Manning started firing on all cylinders you knew the game was up for them. He really is an awesome passing machine with a wonderful football brain, who is now coming very close to threatening Marino's position as my all time favorite QB.

I completely understand why lots of neutrals will be rooting for the Saints and I will certainly not be distraught if they win, but due to family ties I really am obliged to stick with the Colts.

Finally, since US gambling odds have always been a mystery to me, what does this mean in plain English - "The over/under started @ 56"
