Topic: JVM versus Jubilee versus Bogner XTC

Looked at this video by Joe and found out why it is totally impossible to get Joe`s sound with just one amp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-MvF6cY … re=channel

But i would guess one would come a long way with two amps, meaning a Two Rock and a  Bogner XTC, Marshall JVM or a Marshall Jubilee. I have a JVM which i really like wondered just what you think how the Marshall JVM scores compared to the Jubilee and Bogner.

Thanks a lot for every comment. By the way the Two Rock seems to be an awesome amp, but man you don`t get it for free over here in Europe. 5000.- Euro sad I think i would get a bad consciousness after buying this amp (since i am not exactly a touring guitarist)- but it`s allowed to dream isn`t it big_smile

Come on guys, not one feedback? sad

Re: JVM versus Jubilee versus Bogner XTC

Hey ,
I jammed with a friend who had a JVM and I used my jubilee and both amps have their own sound and both sounded good So Iwould stick with it. if you are looking for an affordable 2rock look no further than the Ceriatone overtone or hrm both cost about  £1000 AND BOTH GIVE doable dumble sounds for a fraction of the  2rock price tag

"Everybody's entitled to my opinion. wink

LOL you don't get Two Rocks over here in the US for free either.  They are all good amps... Nothing beats the Jubilee though.  It is just the coolest amp ever.  The Bogner has a bunch more gain on tap than the Marshalls, but it is certainly voiced in that "classic sound".  I'd stick with the JVM though.  If you are sticking to one amp, just get yourself an 808 Ri and a delay and you should be able to accomplish anything with those key components.

Hei Ben, thanks for answering. Excuse my ignorance. Googled 808Ri but didn`t find a lot guitar related. What exactly is 808RI?
