Topic: Guitar sites like GFS?

I ordered a '59 humbucker from guitar fetish and I have to say, it's a pretty impressive pickup for the money...lots of clarity and enough sparkle on the top end to make the notes shine... I also ordered one of their "noiseless" cables and a few patch cables and they are also very impressive for the cost. Anywho, I was wondering if any of you know any other little online, obscure webstores like this...I like the idea of getting things from companies that not too many other people have heard about wink

thanks!

Re: Guitar sites like GFS?

I think a LOT of people know about GFS now. They are all over ebay too.
RS Guitarworks could be another one.
and Torresengineering would be another. Torres was the first site I really started visiting to hotrod my guitars... Volume kits, midrange kits, Woman tone and varitone kits, 1 and 2 meg pots, etc.

So isn't AD3THREE redundant?  Just wondering.

Re: Guitar sites like GFS?

My sincere apologies! I didn't realize that that was your forum name, haha. I thought it was the name of a guitar site...

Re: Guitar sites like GFS?

It started out as my yahoo email.  It was just going to be AD3 but that was strangely taken already so I added the three and it worked.  I go by AD3 alot at work because I test Fiber optic jumpers and the program we use to test these jumpers goes by your initials so AD3 became the name.  People at first thought it was goofy adding the 3 but it was better then III.  I picked the name on here because Arnold03 (which was my second choice) sounded like I finished high school in 2003 which wasn't the case.  I'm not a huge fan of the name Arnold either, its a bit dorky...  so I guess the name really does fit.  At least its better then my middle name.  Pinkney.  You got to love family names.  roll

Understood.  I wasn't trying to be smart-azzed, I figured there was a story.  Thanks for clearing that up.
