Topic: Morley ABY box???

Hi,

i found a good deal on a second-hand ABY box from Morley, i was wondering if you guys had any comments to make about this box for a 2 amp settings...

I had one when I was younger and gave it to a friend.  I used it to switch out guitars at church hardly a definative test for tone.   I've tried it at my house to run 2 amps before but that was before I had even heard of Joe Bonamassa or the concept of running 2 totally different amps together.  My advice is if its less then $20 its worth that.  These pedals these guys are suggesting to you will cost you $250 or more.  I can live with playing stuff that gets the job done at bargin pricing, but if your after the best tone you can find then spend the extra money.  I use a bunch of cheap stuff anyway and I have expensive stuff too, my advice is try it out and decide if you like it if you don't go with something else.

The Morley has no isolated outputs.
Means you'll have a ground hum if you connect 2 amps.
I cannot say something about the tone suck but I would recommend
you a Lehle splitter (P-split or Dual) or the voodoo lab amp selector.
I have the Lehles and can confirm their quality.
