I'm sure you have all heard about the terrible earthquake in Haiti.
If you have not yet done so I would urge you to make a donation to the victims of this tragedy at:

This is a UK aid organisation, perhaps someone could also put up a link for the USA...

Mass media suggests making donations directly to American or International Red Cross.

The $10 donations made by texting on cell phones will not get to Red Cross for 60-90 days. Donations made to Red Cross website are immediate.

Verizon has announced that it will advance funds to the Red Cross as the pledges come in. Also, I understand that the Red Cross dips into existing funds for immediate use and then replenishes as the other donations come in 30, 60, 90 days later.
