I think if they're still in business over 2 years later they're probably legit.

crap. i thought i searched long enough to be confident this was not a duplicate post.

I wonder if the power cord can be changed from EU to US? they also make those adapters?
or is it the fm dial that won't get us stations?

You would have to get a step down transformer and an adapter, or hard wire the power cord to the step down. Eu is 220V 50 Hz. Then it wouldn't work due to the different broadcasting standards. Only good for a souvenier. Rick

Hey, I checked out the manufacturer for specs. It would work on the FM tuner here in the US but not the digital I think. It is listed as coming with a 6VDC adapter plug for battery operation which could be easily hooked up here to a small wall charger available everywhere. Power consumption is only a couple of watts.  Radio Shack has them.
