OK - I'll chime in.

I'm a part of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd one, and also the Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam one.
Both of those forums used to be "hoppin" ... but I don't frequent them as much as I used to.

this forum is definitely where it's at. And I'm not just saying that!
cool

KWS's forum used to be awesome. Great people who loved to debate fiercely, but at the end of the day, respect prevailed. It's still there, but it's a shell of its former self. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that KWS doesn't exactly release albums all that frequently.

Following up on one of Greenose's suggestions, I used to post on the Blindman Blues Forum a lot. If you really want to get into the history of the blues, go there. Caution: it is not that Joe friendly. You have some fans, but there are a lot of people over there that don't think highly of Joe. But if you can get past that, there's a lot of stuff from all forms of blues on there.

Re: Blues Forums...

Just this one and a very minor part in the Aynsley Lister forum. A few people from here on there so it's a friendly place as well.

I love the friendly people here.
Geunter hits the spot with his comment............and I met him at the RAH event smile

Oh yes, and Joe cares and posts.
Just so cool cool

Re: Blues Forums...

Like Duncan and Ges, Aynsley's forum is the only other forum I visit, but I do spend most of my time here. I've made some wonderful friends on this forum and my musical knowledge and tastes have grown enormously since I joined.

With a host as welcoming and generous as Joe, I doubt there's anywhere better. wink

Re: Blues Forums...

Yeah I registered on the Aynsley forum a while ago but it doesn't seem to be as lively as here...
Seen Aynsley a few times, first when I was about 14, he was my first proper crush lol.
