I did see this the other day.  I love the new JMI stuff.  I actually got my Limited MkII Tonebender before they were released.  I want the Rangemaster and their Reverb Tank too.  My friend bought the Rangemaster and it totally rocks!

sweet.  what exactly is a tonebender?

Re: Bluesbreaker Tone - english grey box

The Tonebender is a fuzz. After going to the JMI site, it's pretty apparent that Joe got a Rangemaster from Santa!

Re: Bluesbreaker Tone - english grey box

Is it like your normal fuzz face?

It's a vintage style fuzz.  The Tonebender was made famous by Page and Beck.  The MkII conjures up your Truth/Beck-Ola and Zep I/II tones.  It's a "boss" of a pedal and "makes a statement" lol.  The new JMI stuff is expensive though and most of their effects are "limited release".  I own 100 I think (haven't looked at the back plate ina few months... I made a custom bottom plate so I didn't ruin the original bottom that has all the cool info on it.

Rock On!
