Re: What kind of Tea do you like?
I'm partial to Darjeeling, although Earl Grey is a close second (or is it Gray?).

day to day stuff Yorkshire Tea http://www.yorkshiretea.co.uk/ - afternoon civilized stuff Twinings Earl Grey, - although my wife makes sure I only get decaf these days or else I keep her awake all night bothering her
Yorkshire, eh lad? E by gum, that'll put hair on yer teeth!
I don't touch anything else as long as my supply of PG pyramid bags holds up - I drink at least five mugs per day of strong tea with milk, as one learns to do in the British Isles!
I can't believe the amount of 'fancy', namby-pamby zingers and what-not that people in the US seem to buy in large quantities, never mind "de-caf" tea.
Cathy still buys the funny stuff, but has also developed a palate for 'proper' tea with my assistance.
Just coffee for me! Sorry!

I enjoyed the pyramid power when I was in England. Good stuff, even when I drank it without milk. But I never saw it in Germany.

It's Twinings ...English Breakfast.... or Assam.. Earl Gray
Love my tea, and my Café Latte with a dash of vanilla! Hmmm!

I...like a Tea to the left I and a Tea to the right I.
No choking around!

I'll add my support to Yorkshire Tea - Nowt' fancy or namby-pamby there.......... it's a man's drink is Yorkshire! (and a damn good one too)
Used to be a PG Tips buyer until we discovered Yorkshire about ten years ago.

Guess I 've got to get my hands on some Yorkshire tea! Do any of you know, will that make my hair grow back?
Roy
Tetley's, in a bag, milk and two sugars, end of discussion
I like Twinings OK. I like Earl Grey. I like Ceylon Tea (spicy)
But I make Green Tea double strength for health & long life...
Proper tea?
It's too obvious but Blue Tea, as played at Mr Kyps back in 2007. Thanks to CuztardPi for getting that one for posterity.
Otherwise just what I call 'builders tea'. Black, in a mug, no sugar.
I've always wanted to ask this question here because I'm sure, we have many tea lovers on this forum. For myself, my normal weekday tea is the old standard Lipton regular tea. I must admit, I'm not a big fan of herbal teas.
I came across a new tea recently that is quite good. It's made by Stash Tea and it's called "Chai Spice Black Tea". It has blended black tea, ginger root, cinnamon, clove oil, allspice, clove, nutmeg and cardamom oil in it. Not for the faint of heart, but I must say a very good tea.
Anyone else?
Roy
Hey Roy,
I was given some Assam tea last year that my boss brought back from Turkey
Ah Lyn - you beat me to "Blue Tea."
Never did develop a taste for tea - now Dunkin Donuts cah-fee - that's heaven!
