Re: Tone Pros?

Good post.

To narrow it down, these kits replace the stock and usually crappy gear that came with your guitar and hook you up with much higher quality stuff.  Gives a much better response when you use your controls.

I take orders for these from time to time and most of the time, it does make a world of difference.

Re: Tone Pros?

I just got a smokin deal on some locking tailpiece studs on ebay.... $23 for a pair!

wahoo!

if they work good I'll get em for all my guitars. We'll see if it's true or placebo

Re: Tone Pros?

i would recommend people who plan on getting tone pros locking tail piece studs to try and get the vintage steel studs, i got those for my guitar and they where great replacement over the stock brass studs that come with the current gibsons, the original bursts came with steel studs as well. they add more ring and sustain to the guitar.

i also got the locking AVR-2 bridge for my les paul, they do also make one for Nashville style bridge, that was also a good improvement over the factory ABR-1 bridge, the saddles are much titer fit, and they dont vibrate like some in the gibson bridges, and the retaining wire is for looks, in which i have removed on my bridge.

over all great products.

its all a matter of principle...

Re: Tone Pros?

My Les Paul Classic has a Bigsby tail piece now, but after I installed it the stock ABR-1 would constantly move causing my tuning to go out of tune instantly if I barely touched the vabroto bar.  A locking tone pro's bridge later and as long as I don't go to the extream with using the vabroto like Dive Bombs I can stay in tune for days.  It also helped fatten it back up after I installed the Bigsby.
