Topic: Heck of a deal

The wife and I were sitting in San Francisco airport waiting to connect to the non stop United flight to Heathrow enroute to Berlin. The desk agent announced that they had overbooked and had many families with small children that needed to get on the flight. Volunteers?

Roy, I donate directly to several homeless people in my neighborhood in lieu of throwing my money away on the lottery so some politician can rake off the best part. I get a lot more enjoyment knowing that 100% of it is going to a worthy recipient. If $20 gets a meal and a 12 pack for them it's all good with me.

Now the warm weather native is enjoying 10F (feels like -4) with 3 days more of the same in store. Went out and the snow is crunchy.  lol
