I wonder if this is really the case being that Joe Satriani is a big Palmer PDI-03 fan. His sound is heavily reliant on feedback...IDK if it does kill the feedback that would be a bummer. Does any know how many I would need to run all 4 amps??? I'm guessing 4 but it only seemed like Joe was using one in that video??? I am REALLY not looking forward to having to spend $2500 bucks just to get rid of the heavy cabs.
I just think it would be wicked cool to waltz into a gig with the amps and have the soundguy ask where my cabs/mics were...I'm also thinking a compact rack to house the heads, another for the Speaker Sims/power conditioner/power supply, and a small pedalboard (tuner, wah, screamer, trem, delay, amp selector) would be a VERY awesome and mildly practical setup! Beats the heck out of the guys who bring a Marshall JCM800 fullstack to every gig!
