Hi all first post.  That looks like an Ernie Ball/Music Man.

I think it looks green because of the stage lights.  I have a feeling it's a new color called "Black Magic Crystal", it's kind of a Black Sparkle finish, but that's just a guess.

It could be this one.

Welcome to the forum.

I don't think so Glenn. There was no green lighting and the reflection is from a clear spot. The only lighting was the stock stage setup at the Coach House. Lots of shots from that venue on YT and none of the other gits look green. Maybe a coating like his other Music Man at that show that I posted as Chameleon Guitar which changed colors from a bright blue to a kind of lilac/gray depending on the angle. Sure is cool though.  Rick

Thanx man.  That chameleon color sounds like John Petrucci's Mystic Dream, it can look green, purple, red and even blue'ish depending on the light.  Hum, I wonder if Music Man is gonna come out with another color shifting color at the January Namm.  I'm a member of their forum, if we hear anything I'll let you know.

Glenn, here is the link to the sequence of the Music Man color shifts. Last 3 shots are sequential in the same spot. Gold, silver, blue. earlier shots show lavender. Left hand group on the linked page. Not only do they make them sound great, they look great too.

Rick, that looks like the new model coming out from EBMM, it's called the Reflex, it's the production model of the 25th Anniversary model.  Joe was playing a 25th from what has been said.  You can kind of tell by the volume and tone knob positions.

The color of that guitar looks to be what's called Sterling Silver, great color, sparkley, I love the sparkle finish guitars and they look awesome under the lights.

The pictures in that group, the 21-27 are of the BP AL, great guitar, 3 humbers, solid rosewood neck.  It was Sterling Balls guitar and is hopefully gonna become a production model.  Hoping it's gonna be released at Namm in January.

Thanks. Very cool Glenn. Checked your thread on the MM forum and see that this git got the boys excited so it must be a special one. Wish I had a picture of it in natural lighting. seems to refract different hues varying with the angle.  That must be some new hitech color technique. Sorry the pix were lorez, camera phone. If it was left here in the US, we'll have to wait for the spring tour. Now, what do they call the color on the 12/6 string? I think that one was left here too.

BTW, I recall in a different thread that Joe said he loved the instrument. I know it sounded awesome. As the pictures show, he played it in a number of different tunes that night. I'll search around in the image file and see if there are any others of it.  Rick

I don't know if he's lurking or just posted and split, but I swear Big Poppa hisself (Mr. Sterling Ball) had posted a month or two ago here on our very own forum.  If Joe doesn't chime in, I'm pretty sure BP would know what color the 12/6 was.  Ohhhh, Poppa???

Rick, yah there is much excitement about the 25th and the up coming Reflex.  MM makes a quality instrument, I have 5 myself.

I'm personally waiting for the BP AL, HHH model with rosewood neck.  DROOL!!!

I am hoping to catch Joe @ the Boston show in April, can't wait, I'm very excited!!!  He's getting huge press over on the EBMM Forum, that's how I heard about him.  I've always been a blues fan and this is just reigniting it for me.

The Green or Blue Double neck (12/6) looks like it could be Bahama burst, a great blue'ish green color.  I'll ask over there and see if I can get an offical call on it.  smile

Hi Glenn,its colin from the EBMM forum.welcome to the JB forum,some great people here also.i joined myself a few weeks back and saw my first joe gig last week when he came to tour Ireland.

He was absolutely amazing and i was blown away by how good a performer and guitar player he was.I received his Live DVD recorded in the royal albert hall may this year today and it inspired me all over again.
