Hi dave, just got home. Nice pic. Great show, some crinkles on the sound early on, but first time out for the board for a while so it took some setting up with a full house I guess. Well done Warren! Havenot downloade my stuff yet but will post when I've binned the rubbish (if there's any left LOL!)

Thanks, Geoff. I recognised a fair few of you at the front of the queue (bloody cold! haha) and I was standing just behind your group (one of the younger guys in the long black coats).
I found the sound to be very good in the end - so nice to have a band sound that is not fatiguing on the ears. Sandi Thom's sound seemed to be louder, yet quite harsh on the ears, so I'm glad Joe's was that nice. With those leggins, most of the people around me did not seem to be interested in her singing
I enjoyed it - uploading a vid to youtube now of DAC ending bit.

Now where else did I see this pic? Could it have been on Facebook? Said it before, and I'll say it again. GREAT pic dude )
Jon
Thanks again!
A video for you guys - couldn't get the whole lot, because of "that security"

Yeah, okay youtube really does kill the atmosphere sometimes, but it's better than nothing.
Thanks for these. Great Photo and video - roll on Tuesday!
Maggie
Great Vid Dave, loved it, from a good angle too. The show for me was perfect. Felt the MM 25th Aniversary number was a bit too loud and toppy causing Joe to hunker up to the mic and overdo it a little bit, cos I was wincing for the first time ever during that number. As you say, different sound, more of a ring to the notes than the overdriven sound of a Gibson. Yeh "that security" despite me having a photo pass and the fact that I was not in the pit they still wanted me to stop photographing after the third number, yet they let me film with a canon compact???
Thanks again guys and gals!
Just one more small piece for you...

Sorry I couldn't get more, but hey, we have the RAH dvd!

Well I just managed to get my pics edited and uploaded before we dash off to Nottingham for another dose in a few minutes ( )

The big difference for me was the superb stage lighting at Llandudno - didn't always make photography easy, but sure added to the show's atmosphere. Anybody know if the guys have their own lighting rig on this tour? Maybe I'll find out tonight.
Shame about those security guys though - didn't get as many pics as I would have liked.
Ian
Thanks so much! Great photos!
Here are a few more, not as good - but you're right - the lighting was great and only got better.
"Ah there I am, thanks mr spotlight man" haha!

Beautiful pictures guys. Ian - what about the lighting made the pictures difficult - I'd hate to think what you could come up with if it was "easier." Thanks for sharing. My shutter finger is getting itchy!

Sandy - the lighting was absolutely stunning, and gave a wonderul backdrop to the show. But you know how Joe loves to wander around the front of the stage - there were a few darkish areas along the front, and as you may have picked up on another post, the spotlight was sometimes a touch slow in keeping up. I was on manual focus, and the dark patches made it a little tricky - the delete icon was busy to say the least! Also the large security fella in the pit insisted I could only use my SLR for the first 3 songs and made me put it away afterwards .
I'm a happy bunny with the ones I posted though.
Just about to see what my old compact did for me at Nottingham last night - what a show that was!
Dave - some nice pics there (esp 040705 - worth posting twice ) - I think you got a better spot than me. Us old uns lost out in the sprint to the front and ended up against the barrier but over to the right.
