Topic: Your opinon pls...this 74 could be it

Hey folks,

One last time I'm stealing your time with a topic on a 70s Strat....but I will be checking the following guitar next weekend and have a reservation on it.  Any input from you guys, any advise, what do you think of this baby? By the way, the seller says its a lightweight, not the usual 70s boatanker. Pickguard is the only thing non original, the rest also the case is original.

I believe and hope it not only a great sounding guitar but also something that at least keeps its value.

Thanks for your opinions.

Good thing you get to check it out

Walter Trout plays a 1973, he purchased it new in 1974
It's been his main guitar forever, he has no problem burnin on it

Good Luck
Have fun

Yes that sounds like one of the good ones!  Gregory Hilden is a monster at soulful blues and has some of the best touch I've ever heard.  He makes any guitar sound great so keep that in mind.  If it's a lighter weight '70s I would check it out.  I personally think that the mocha brown color looks really sweet!
