Topic: Billy Walton touring UK with Southside Johnny

Hey Everyone,
Billy will be touring as the guitarist for Southside Johnny this month from Nov 7-21.  The Billy Walton Band just did 11 shows in the UK and has 5 shows confirmed for Feb 2010 already.  Southside Johnny is a legendary performer and shouldn't be missed.  More info at www.southsidejohnny.com or www.billywaltonband.com

Hey William....that's really exciting news. It will bring Billy's phenomenal playing to a huge number of people and really stir em up!

Well I had the pleasure of my very first Southside Johnny gig on saturday in York at the Grand Opera House. Featuring the brilliant Billy on guitar.
I loved it....what a fun band they are. Great musicians who really know how to enjoy themselves.
All credit to Billy...it can't be easy jumping into an established band that you have always looked up to and admired, having to learn a whole bunch of songs, pronto and doing it all in front of hoards of long established fans who know every song in detail!
He did an excellent job and had fun doing it too.
I managed to sneak a couple of videos with my little Fuji.....here is their version of I'm A Man

You're quite right Duncan. Ian Siegal was supporting and he was very good. Missed the first part of his set but I'm looking forward to seeing him at Leamington on saturday.
