Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

You have a couple of the GTRs mis labeled. What you have as the firebird is The Big Poppa and the blue double neck is the new 12 string. Good shots

Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

Roadshow 101, I stand corrected on the gits. Not a player and I was guessing. Thanks for the correction.
Bluesman, he is hardly recognizable. What a change, lean and mean now. What a night that was, you could tell that Joe was having a real good time, and our seats were in his lap. As my date said, "I could have licked him." ROTF. Rick

Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

Thanks for sharing these - nothing like being up close and personal.

That new double neck is amazing!  Is it dark blue or black?  Absolutely gorgeous!  How much does something like that weigh?  I don't even play guitar and I want one of those!

it was actually dark green, but had a little blue in it.

its all a matter of principle...

Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

My pleasure Sandy. As I kinda recall,(3 Long Islands left me a bit fuzzy) that brute is dark burgundy and is truely studly. What a sound from that 12 string! I have about 100 more shots to sort through and will post more when I have time. It was impressive to me how well that little camera phone worked in low light.

Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

Seems like it was deepdarkblueygreeneykindasprucelike to me.  wink  Going to have to look thru my photos and video......  tongue

There is another guitar from the second night which started as a beautiful pale sky blue and then kept going back and forth between gold and silver.... but grayish.  Amazing finishes on these guitars.  They are a whole show by themselves!!  smile

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Looked metallic emerald. I added a shot from the day before that was taken with a better camera. Check it out. Rick

Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

Libby, I think that is the new Music Man, "Big Poppa" . My shots show several colors too depending on which lighting is on it. Amazing! Rick

Re: Joe's 20th anniversary Coach House

Ya got me going. I reviewed my pix and just uploaded some more. I especially was amazed by a three shot seqence that captured several distinct colors within seconds in the performance. There are 4 shots with labels of "color variation". Numbers 2, 3, and 4 are sequential in the slide show. Tab back and forth on those 3 and it will show what Libby noticed. I used an editor to brighten up the contrast but did not touch the color saturation. How do they do that? Same link will get you there. Rick
