Topic: Cool clubs in Berlin?

Going to see the son and new arrival this Christmas in Berlin. Any local recomendations for a spot to drop in and enjoy Blues and Braus? I'll be there 3 weeks. Rick

I don´t know the blues scene in Berlin but there is a paper  called "zitty" with a schedule of all music gigs and other cultural events. I suppose your son will have it.

If I remember well Joe played in bluesclub Quasimodo (or something) like that a few years ago.
Was a nice small venue.
Perhaps you can check it out on the internet.

Thanks for the tips. Berlin is one of the greatest cities in the world. It will be cold and clammy but Gluhwein in one of the Weinachtmarkts with the lights and vendors stalls is a fond memory.

You might want to check out 'Das Klo' - purely for the novelty value, I don't think they have live music but everybody in Berlin will know of the place. wink

Wow! I can't believe I missed this site for so long. You folks make the heart of this old rocker shine. So much help and love,  never a diss to be seen.  This will be a special visit for Helen and I . First grandson! We will be checkin' those clubs mentioned. We are making our fourth visit to Berlin so we kind of know how to get around there and have a feel for the city, also have some fine inlaws that dig the blues too. Thanks to you all. Rick
