SUrprisingly Joe has never recorded a WIllie Dixon song. But for something a little different from Muddy or the Wolf, how about 21 Days in Jail by Magic Sam. I could hear Joe singing this one:

There's a Gary Moore song from "Power To The Blues" album called Torned Inside. Listen to it...and tell me if it wouldn't be a nice song to be covered by joe.
'Dedicated' by Paul Carrack.
Joe would make his guitar sing on this one.
Texas Flood - SRV
Tuesday's Gone - Lynard Skynard
Sky is Crying - SRV & Thorogood
Skuttlebuttin - SRV

Perhaps you could keep those requests for the local SRV clone playing near you instead. Joe has build a career not being a soundalike. By the way two of those songs are already covers!
Maybe Rockfarmer just wants to hear Joe blow SRV's versions out of the water. Chill.
I was thinking maybe a Doors track......
Love Me 2 Times
Roadhouse Blues
LA Woman
In fact pretty much anything, and Rick/Bogie/Carmine would also have much fun with them too.
win/win all round
Surburban Love by Japan from the Adolescence Sex LP an epic 70's rock tune in the Sloe Gin vein, i know Joe could twist this into one of his live classics 100% guarenteed JBness

Born Under A Bad Sign by Albert King.
Born Under A Bad Sign by Albert King.
Hmmm. I have never heard anyone in 50 years do that song justice. Killing Floor is another one. Maybe Joe could with this band.
hmmmm
"Tobacco Road"
"As Hope and Promise Fade" by Chris Cornell
also known as "Two Drink Minimum"
Personally, I love when covers are made of songs outside that genre like Joe's cover of Stop or Feelin Good. Other's include Santana's version of She's Not There or Chris Cornell's Billie Jean. I would love to see Joe take something like Alan Parson's Old and Wise and blues it up.

I had never heard that before. That is a great friggin tune.
I would love to hear Joe play Feelin' Bad Blues by Ry Cooder, especially live.
Torn Inside, a Gary Moore song.
"Blood Is Thicker Than Water" - Black Label Society
