Topic: I Got My Wings

I just ordered the # 9 of 100,  Dean USA Rik Emmett Triumph V Signature Guitar. I have been wonting one since its release in 2006 and the price has reduces considerably since then so I made the purchase today.

#12 & #33 are also listed on ebay at this time. I made a $2100 offer and got my wings… I will post some photos next week…

Re: I Got My Wings

Very Cool Bill....can't wait to see some pics

I was offered #2 but they wanted more than double what you are paying for it.  I mean I love Rik, and I have known Rik personally for a number of years but that was out of my price range.  Especially the fact I could have gotten one for $2,300 when they first came out from a local store.  From the last time I promoted a show for him here, I have a stack of the promo posters from Dean.  I think the novelty of the V for me has worn off...but that can always change...it comes and goes in stages...Now if it was his personal Framus guitar then I might have parted with that kind of $$$...LOL

I am sure you are going to love the V....i guess now I am jealous...you have guitars from two of my fav guitar players...any other artist models in your possession?

2009 Gibson Les Paul 1958 VOS (with black plastic)
2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop (with the cream plastic from the 58RI)

After I bought #9, I sent Spud an email to see if he had any of the posters that you talked about. He offered to sell me one that Rik has used. I guess I should had talked to him before I bought #9 sad

I did own a Carvin  Craig Chaquico, but I sold it to offset the purchase of #51 JBLP. I didn't care for the frets on it anyway. So IM happy...

Re: I Got My Wings

That would have been #2 that Spud has.....what did he offer it to you for?
