Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

Wow!! - Great gig by Virgil and band last night at the Jolly Farmers in Purley - nice crowd in attendance, for a wednesday night and the band were rockin'. I'm sure all those seeing Virgil for the first time were well impressed. Nice to see Maggie there and Spurspaul and Nige from the Aynsley Lister forum. Go and see this band if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed!!!

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

Wasnt it just a great night? The crowd were super and that in turn brings the best out of the boys, they really do feed off it. Lots of back patting afterwards and some good contacts were made, should be sorting a venue out in Crewe for the new year.
On top of that as Duncan (greenose) mentioned above we opening for the HOAX at Dingwalls on the 3rd of Jan smile
Oh and apologies for the sound at first, so much for reading a mixing desk manual, I did it my my in the end!!!

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

It was a really great show - glad that I was able to see Virgil and the Accelerators as headliners.  Thanks to the forum I can go on my own to these gigs if necessary and thanks Martin and Eldo  for being so welcoming.  smile
