Minneaplois 10-19-09 reviews?

Hey All,

Seems that maybe there's no other Minnesotan's on board here?  Was looking for some thoughts on how Monday nights show at the Guthrie went.

Was really trying to get myself to the show, but between helping our kid with some college costs, and too many car repairs in teh past couple months, couldn't find enough $$$ sitting around to spend on the tickets.  Was THAT close to buying up a couple anyway, but cooler ( and more boring) heads prevailed.

Did finally pick up the latest CD, and have been playing that almost non-stop at work, trying to fill the void.

I've had terrible luck trying to get to one of Joe's shows in town.  Other time I had an opportunity when he was playing an outdoor show, there was a tornado warning eminent that evening and I wasn't going to risk the long drive for the chance that I would have had to fight the weather.

HOPEFULLY NEXT TIME AROUND FOR ME!!!!!

Hi tom,
I wasn't there, but a friend of mine was. This was her first time to see Joe and the boys live. I have to tell you first, my friend is the biggest RUSH fan ever, and she just drools over Geddy Lee, but i told her about Joe and his music around a year ago, and to go and see Joe play live when he is next in Minnesota, and she did!
After the show, she told me she was "BLOWN AWAY" Petie is now a Joe Bonamassa fan, and she is going to spread the word to her many music friends, so Joe, if you're reading this..... Well done, it was the BEST show!!!!
