Topic: Live Looping

Hey guys

Anyone got any experience with Live Looping pedals?

I'm looking for a pedal I can work with my feet and maybe plug more than just my guitar into.

So far all I can come up with is the Boss RC-20XL which seems to do what I want it to but according to reviews you can only put about 4 layers on and if you use any kind of overdrive everything gets a bit nasty.

Any suggestions troops?

Re: Live Looping

I have a rc-20XL but after getting it I realised I perhaps should have gone for the Digitech Jamman Looper, apparently  that is one of the best ones out there now. Lots more storage on the Jamman.

Re: Live Looping

Is it easy to use live? How many layers can you build up?

Greg

Pretty sure it will be asy to use live, guitar/Mic in and line into your amp smile pretty much the same as the RC-20XL

For layers I have no idea. Google is your friend smile

Akai E2 Headrush?

Re: Live Looping

I really really like my Line 6 DL4 for looping.  It's really easy once you get the hang of it.  You can loop as many times as you want but there is no erase feature.  So don't mess up lol wink .  Here's me demoing mine after spending about a week with it so I didn't have it mastered or anything...

FF to about 1:20 for just the looping, no talking.

I'll check the link when I get home smile No facetube at work!

I think im tempted by the Boss pedal mostly..

Although im really struggling to get my head around how I'd work this into my rig. I don't want vocals coming through my Marshall!!
