Great night at the Robin2 last night with these guys - a really tight band who put on a great show.
Some more gigs coming up in the London area so catch 'em while you can.
Thanks boys for taking the time to chat and sign CD's afterwards and good luck with the rest of the tour.

And what an added bonus to bump into our friend Tripsy, who was there with Simon. Good to see ya folks!

Billy and the guys did put on a great show! They were even better than when I saw them last year. Some great songs from the new album, Neon City and some from the first cd including the brilliant Cannonball.
Also a couple oh Hendrix numbrs....Voodoo Chile and Fire which were amazing. Billy uses pedals made by Roger Meyer who made pedals for Hendrix. I think some of Jimi's spirit flows through Billy's fingers!
It was great to see Ian and Max there.....looking forward to seeing your pics, Icon.

Billy, William and Marcus were very entertaining and very kindly signed set lists for Max and I and posed for pics after the gig. I also managed to get a couple of picks signed too cool

Well, we went to Beaverwood and had another fantastic evening listening to Billy, William and Marcus.  big_smile

If you haven't seen the band yet check them out - you won't be disappointed.  Set included tracks from their great new album as well as a brilliant Bo Diddley Medley, Rosalie and Hey Joe. smile

I made it to the Billy Walton gig last night at Herne Hill and his fingers were as fast as always - a smallish crowd of maybe 50 or so gave the band a warm welcome - fantastic rendition of Little Wing...........they are off to support Walter Trout tonight in Swindon, so a bigger crowd beckons.................look forward to some vids of Billy jamming with Walter - two fretboard masters on the same stage should be a sight to behold.........

Hey everyone, we made it back to the US.  I had some US style bacon for breakfast!  I'd like to thank the JB fans for being so encouraging at our shows.  I hope he realizes he has some cool fans!  I'm sure he does.  We've got some big news that I'll let you know about in the next week or so.  Tripsy put up some nice vids on youtube from our gig at the Robin2.  We already have some confirmed dates for Feb.  We'll also be coming back in May.

The bacon thing is one of the "cultural differences".  After 5 tours I have a good understanding of many things.  Beer is beer (yours is better!).  Pizza is pizza.  Scrambled eggs are scrambled eggs.  Then there's bacon.  Just one of those things!

Anyways, we have a major announcement coming in a matter of days that directly concerns the Billy Walton Band and the UK!!

Alright Billy, confession time: Waffle House or Bob Evans?  I agree that good bacon is a personal thing and what matters is what they're feeding those pigs.  You need to bring your band for next years Fall Festival in Cadiz, Kentucky to taste America's finest pork.

I can't speak for the other two guys in the band, but a majority of my bacon is consumed in a New Jersey institution, the Jersey Diner!  Specifically, I lived in Hoboken for 15 years and the Malibu Diner is an awesome place.  That's where the mayor took cash payoffs in a paper bag.  That's classic Jersey!  I currently live in the Princeton area and visit the Princeton Diner on Route 1.  I prefer a perfect blend of crunchy & chewy in my bacon.  We'd love to bring the band out to KY!

FYI, it looks like JB will be playing at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank NJ in April.  It's a beautiful venue!  I noticed it on the venue's sched.
