Topic: Joe song for my wedding?

hey all,

one of the first dates i took my fiance on was a jb concert. I was wondering about a song to play at the reception by him for us. We've seen him 3 times together.

I'd like a slow song - and she likes "When She Dances" - but I'm open to suggestion wink

My son, who was the one who introduced ME to Joe, is getting married in a couple of weeks - they will dance to When She Dances - I have a full box of tissues ready for me!  It's a beautiful song.

Yup I also think When She Dances is a great choice.
Mountain Time's also beautiful but for a wedding not as perfect as When She Dances would be.

Maybe if he read this Joe could write a new song for you? cool big_smile

Secondly, you knew the answer already. It's a no-brainer - it has to be 'When she dances', which is just one hell of a love song that makes you go all mushy inside. wink

Mainly due to the awful thing that wedding evening "do's" usually are, we did not have one. Usually crap "music", rubbish keg beer, being told "you don't know how to enjoy yourself" etc, etc, etc.

You know.
If I knew about Joe then....and these songs existed (it was 30 years ago), I might have had a different view.

I think Joe writes/records more break-up songs than love ones, but "When She Dances" does it for me too. If it doesn't work out..we'll have a much longer list:D. Just kidding. I wish you all the best. Where is the honeymoon?   Cathy
