Topic: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

Just had Pete Feenstra on the phone and he has asked to to play The Anchor in Lewisham next Friday the 25th. Short notice but if your in the area or know anyone who is please spread the word. Small venue limited tickets, guaranteed to knock your socks off smile

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

I can't be there myself sadly but I shall spread the word with friends who live in the area. Keep me posted if they get any German dates this side of Xmas. Would love to see the band.

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

Apologies for the delay. They are on at 9.00pm for two sets so I guess around 11 - 11.30pm. If you are stuck for that one they are supporting JST on the following gigs (obviously a cut down set):

Nov 15 2009 - Sutton Boom Boom Club
Nov 25 2009 - Wolverhampton Robin 2
Nov 26 2009 - Chislehurst Beaverwood Club
Nov 27 2009 - Margate, West Coast Live

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

Just bumping this its 5.30am just setting off to pick the band up. The Anchor Music Club, London tonight if you want some good hard rocking blues and blistering guitar. These young bands all need our help to keep the genre alive or we will be a wash with god knows what. Please come say high if you are going big_smile. Without your support I cannot move them to central england which means a 500 - 600 mile round trip for me, come help a brother out hmm

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators first London Gig

Just arrived home after seeing Virgil and the Accelerators at the Boom Boom club.  They were fantastic - a great sound and very accomplished performance.  Loved the guitar solos.

It was great to meet Virgil, Tom and Gabriel after the set and to meet you again Martin.  Sorry I can't make the !5th Nov, I am singing at the RAH in a scratch choir, otherwise I would be there like a shot.

Will be spreading the word.

Sounds like a good opportunity for some of the London guys who regularly post on this forum (you know who you are...) to go out and see some great music courtesy of Virgil and his talented band. Hope it goes well Martin! smile
