I use jubilee and ceriatone into a 2x12 , the mic sits in the middle of cab between both speakers so pics up both amp sounds very compact rig sounds awesome!!

What kinda mic do you use, because I think I could do that with my 412, but don't know if an SM57 would work well picking up both speakers.

What do you guys think of blending a Vox AC15 and a Fender Deluxe Reverb?  I play mostly classic rock...blues based...what I call the "Big" 3 Zeppelin/Hendrix/Clapton....

There's a guy on here who swears by his Fender Twin+Vox AC30 mix.  The Vox has the chimey upper mids while the Fender covers the lows/highs.  I say go for it!

Hi its an old shure mic think its an early version of sm57 it picks up at all angles unidirectional so its ideal for picking up between 2 speakers im shure sm57 would be ideal for this too.

Yeah my band mates hate me sometimes but love the sound.  The only one verbal about it is the singer...lazy ****** singer.  God forbid he has to carry something, make practice, put forth effort, etc.  Most of the time, sound guys are pretty cool about mics.  Smaller clubs I dont' even mic, lots of overhead.

Where the hell does one get a black-backed gold top anyway?

Thats about one good think I can say about my band mates is we are good with helping each other carry gear. My singer is the second guitarist so he has his fare share as well. But your right they are still a Pain in the A$$ some other way! HA

I think for our EP release I am going to try the double amp, going to have to have the Bassman serviced she still has the orginal tubes from 68 and 2 prong chord. I don't play it that often but it still sounds good, and yea I know I need to have the caps redone as well.

Its great!  I like it b/c while I was able to get the Mesa to sound much like the Jubilee, i had to crank the gain on the Mesa up resulting in a bit of a noisy amp.  The Jubilee has saturation like no other at lower gain settings, plus I biased it a little hot lol.

I use this one.  Simply the best and the manual is great... set mine up in about 2 mins, no joke.

I love my Twin/AC30 Mix.  I keep both clean and use overdrive pedals for different levels of drive. Sounds great.  I have often thought of getting a AC15 and a Deluxe or Princeton to have a similar setup at lower volumes.  The twin/AC30 set up is very loud.

The manual explains it very well. You can set it up to select 1, 2, 3 or 4 amps together (or any combination of them). You can program it so that any combination of amps switch together. There is also a separate tuner out. Two guitars can be plugged into the Switcher. Go to Voodoo Lab's website. The manual is online there.

Thanks for the link -- I was going to look on ebay but having a new one at US prices is just fine. I see they ship to Europe, so no problem there. I used to order gear from a US store (no chain, just a small store) but after a while they told me they're not allowed to sell certain gear abroad anymore. Thank God I bought my Fulltone pedals before that. Now you have to buy them from the European importer. Yeah, right... at double or even almost three times the US price! Who do they think they're kidding?
