Whether you like his work or not(and I loved "Point Break"), a classy and courageous man till the end. He's groovin' with Jeff Healey at the Roadhouse now.

Road House was the coolest movie of the 80s. Damn he was so cool.
I really liked "Point Break" too Mike, have it on DVD. And who can forget the tear jerker, "Ghost"? And Deezer, I have "Roadhouse" on DVD too. Sure it was a little campy, but who didn't want to be the guy that goes into town and kicks all the bad guy's a**es?
But beyond that, he was a good man who was married to the same lady for 33 years. They did not have children. RIP Patrick.
Roy
He was one of those guys that guys were jealous of, cos all the girls thought he was
Extra Cool (and he was)
Seemed a real down to earth man and as Roy said was a family man all his life and never came across as a Star-ish guy
R I P Patrick Swayze
Michael
I like Point Break a lot too. Red Dawn was sick flick.
Ben
I'm tired of hearing about 'young' people dying from cancer. Life can be so cruel when your health fails you.
Patrick had a unique acting career without the big ego and for any of the dudes jealous of those dance moves, unless you grew up with your mom being a choreographer, you didn't stand a chance. Same goes for John Travolata, his mom was a choreographer also. OK, no one mentioned his especially famous movie so I will. I loved it when Patrick jumped off the stage in Dirty Dancing and also when the dad apologized for judging him wrong, its hard for some people to admit when they are wrong and dad's often think that no guy is good enough for their daughter. (think Meet the Parents)
RIP Patrick
