Topic: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

It looks like the Mule are doing a short autumn tour of Europe. There's nothing on the Mule website yet but I picked this up from the Euromule fan site.

Tickets are on sale for Vienna on 10th November

http://www.oeticket.com/portal/de/konze … mance.html

and Milan on 12th November

http://www.ticketone.it/IT/Concerti/nc_ … -Mule.html

I can't find any other dates at the moment but here's hoping for a UK show.

Re: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

Not another unmissable show in November! big_smile  If you hear of any UK dates, please let me (us) know. I'll be right next to you in the queue. wink

Sure will Phil. You'll have to put off that holiday - there's too much going on big_smile

Re: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

Oooh Vienna sounds very tempting...

Re: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

Martin, shouldn't that be "Ohhhh Viennaaaaa" lol  Oh please yourself. roll

I've just noticed that the EuroMule website (http://www.euromule.co.uk/) is now saying:

"Gov't Mule will play some European shows in Nov 2009 including one date in the UK shortly after releasing their new album on October 26 on Provogue Records."

Now, the big question is of course, where in the UK will it be?

Re: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

If just one date its bound to be London. I will hold off of a little while then. If it was summer I would definitely go to Vienna, difference in cost would not be much.

I've been talking to the helpful guy who writes the Euromule website :

http://www.euromule.co.uk/

and he confirms that his info is that there will definitely be only one UK date. Not sure about other European dates yet.

Many thanks Steve if you read this smile

Re: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

The closest to my place is Milan -- and that date is in the middle of the week. So I can forget about that. It seems I'm going to miss them again unless there will be some more dates at places closer to my home.

News from Steve at Euromule

Just looked at this now and has a London date for November 21 - The Forum, Kentish Town, London listed - no ticket link yet.  David - I hope it happens for you - I know how much you want to see these guys!

Sandy

edit:  now on Mule's site as well smile

Sandy, thanks for the meerkat "heads up" big_smile Unfortunately, 21st November is probably the worst possible date for UK Bonabuddies as it's also the day of the next forum meet in Leamington Spa to see Gwynn Ashton, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Oli Brown, Aynsley Lister, Ian Siegal, Buddy Whittington and The Yardbirds. mad

As I haven't bought my ticket yet I have the option of either, but I know that many have already bought tickets and booked non-refundable hotel rooms in Leamington Spa and I also know they would probably commit murder to see Govt Mule. I have the option to see JST the night before and Oli and JST together in December and I've seen Aynsley twice this year and could see him again in London the following week. I'd really love to see Buddy Whittington, though. Decisions, decisions....:/   My main regret, however, would be not meeting up with my Bonabuddies. sad

Re: Gov't Mule - European dates in November

Did you hear my scream all the way over on the east coast Phil?

What a date to choose yikes I already have my Leamington ticket and a hotel booked.

Thanks for thinking of me Sandy and I WILL get to see Gov't Mule somehow on this tour.

It has crossed my mind to join either Günter, Eva, and Thomas in Munich or George & co in Amsterdam  so I can still go to Leamington and meet up with all the UK Bonabuddies for a good day's music.

This needs a bit of thinking about so it's a good job the UK tickets aren't on sale yet. Thinking cap on hmm
