Topic: Congrats to Chula Vista

Hats off to the Chula Vista, Ca. for winning the Little League World Series by beating Taipei 6 to 3. The first time a California team has beaten a far east team for a series final win. They rallied from a 3 run deficit to pull out the win.

I watched them beat Georgia...thought to my self...They just might go all the way.

The town is going nuts over them!!!  Yup, it (the neighborhood, notice the neighbor part-not a 'hood) is a past stomping ground for me. smile

Oh yeah, they faced elimination 8 times in tournament play and came through.   They also have a musical pregame ritual.  Before each game they sing the refrain from Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline!!!  Good times never felt so good.  So Good! So Good! That's all they know....that and how to win! big_smile
