Great video! Looks like everyone was having a great time, but I found Slash's playing a distraction. Sounded like his LP was out of tune.

awesome video.
mayer's soloing was way better than slash. he is a better soloist. slash has written many many many great riffs in his time. also, his first solo album is nothing short of excellent. it is bluesy as hell and in my opinion but very few others better than anything guns n roses ever did, and ive always liked them.

So according to Mayer's facebook page, he'll have a new album coming out in November called Battle Studies. Can't wait!!!!!!!

I can't wait for that release as well. Is it stacked with more blues than pop or vice versa? The guy just seems to get better as he goes imo.

Yeah, it'll be awesome. It will feature Pino Palladino on bass and Steve Jordan on drums. John has actually been documenting its making. Check the youtube account "Mayermusic" for all the vids.
