See my post #62 on this thread for a vague explanation of the process.
I've gotten some great (and some not-so-great) Joe shows via BitTorrent, and my eternal thanks go out to the tapers/posters who take their time, effort and money to record these great shows. I've done a little (mediocre) recording myself and it is a ROYAL PITA.
If you have a specific question, don't hestitate to post here. I use Vuze (which is what Azureus is now called) and it's fairly user-friendly, only tricky thing is to do port-forwarding if you have a router, or else you will have a much harder time getting connected.
Also keep in mind, timing is EVERYTHING. If you jump on a torrent too soon, it will be very slow. If you start it when there are a lot of seeders (i.e., people who have completed the download and who are still online only uploading) it can go very fast. If you miss that window...it will go very slow again.
The Joe shows tend to be pretty popular when they're first posted, so good luck and happy downloading!
