Why did you have to post that sad too far out of the way for a wed night (235 miles out sad) Good to see him playing again though!!

John,

I read somewhere on the net that the couple of gigs he has lined up at the end of this year are intented to be his last- ever.

I don't know if this is the case, or his intention.Decisions like that can always be reversed, I well remember seeing The Rolling Stones at Ashton Gate, Bristol, UK in 1982, a holy and fitting venue, based on the same assumption.

I think it would be nice to remember him as he was when I saw him , aged about 21 and probably the most moving and soulful blues player to grace the Planet.
