Topic: Acoustic Preamp

As a mostly electric player, with a very simple rig, i was wondering how i can set up an acoustic preamp through my electric rig to also be able to play my acoustic. I was looking at the LR Baggs Venue DI and i like it cuz it goes right on the board, but to be completely honest, i have not even the slightest clue on how to use it. Does it just go right into the pedal chain? Anyway, if anyone could steer me to the right direction that would be wonderful.

thanks!

Logan

I prefer to have my acoustic going through the PA. Especially if the guitar amp is not mic'd. I tried putting them through guitar amps, but it didn't have the sound I wanted. I tried the Behringer DI box for grins and was not impressed with it.

Good luck!
