Topic: 'pedalboard' question
I just bought a Wox V847 wah, I already had a maxon OD808 (tubescreamer) and a Boss DD-5 delay.
In which order should I put my pedals? (and due to lack of cables at the moment I run the Boss DD-5 in front of the amp)

Wah first. Then I'd say delay then the tubescreamer. Going by the fact that the delay (in line) has to be before the distortion of the amp and therefore it should maybe be before what is essentially a distortion pedal.
So, guitar > wah>delay>dist>amp

Generally delays go at the end of the chain so Wah->TS->DD->Amp but it's not written in stone.
There's a nice write-up about it over in the FAQ's on Robert Keeley's site.
Guitar - Wah - Distortion - delay - Amp!:D
I guess your question has been answered. In some more detail:
guitar => tuner => wah => octave => compressor => distortion/overdrive => modulation effects (chorus, flanger) => delay => reverb => amp
Obviously leave out the pedal you don't have/need. In my experience the less pedals the better.
I'd put the delay and the chorus in the effects loop if you had one.
Don't automatically stick the wah first in line, some interesting sounds can be got from having it after a distortion. Common practise dictates to put it Wah > OD > Delay but theres nothing wrong with trying different set ups.
Thanks for the help!! I went with the wah-OD-delay thing..
Guitar goes into the Vox, then into the overdirve then into the delay.
I see everyone goes for a totally different thing to me.
I generally go by distortion last is using a pedal, considering amp distortion is the last thing if in line. So for example, without the tubescreamer, it'd be
Wah>delay>amp(distortion)

When you do that you also get a delayed distortion, which doesnt always yield a nice result especially if running through another amp... Apples and Pears though they both have uses, Disortion > Delay = delayed distortion. Delay > Distortion = Distortion + a original signal thats delayed, so it could be a clean + disorted signal at the same time...
See if ever I'm playing a gig without my amp, due to not having an effects loop I run delay into my EQ, which is boosting the volume and mids, much better sound than the other way round. I essentially use the EQ pedal the same way the tubescreamer is used by some.
