REMEMBER anyone buying an original Jubilee should check the serial No first , the earlier ones had a different circuit and dont sound as good (thin ,trebely)up to around ser no 2500 after this thay are all good

Would have been nice to get this little tidbit of info BEFORE I bought my Jub...In my Sell me on the Jubilee thread.  My # 00325 on a combo,  Have not had thin or trebly tone with it though.  $1750 is a great price for a halfstack

Where the hell does one get a black-backed gold top anyway?

Yeah sorry but I only found out recently , saw something on metro forum where one of the members told how to convert the circuit dont think theres much in it , also this link from youtube shows one modded

Thanks...I'll check it out, fairly handy with a soldering iron.  The amp sounds great though, as good as a fifty watt can sound...maybe the combos were different?

Only 2 hrs away from PHX...Man that is a great deal on that JUB...getting the cab for free essentially
