Topic: Way Huge Porkloin

My friend let me borrow one to check out.  Joe I know you use one.  Its got some useable tones in it.  There is 8 or so dials on it and the decriptions in the manual stink (super basic and bland, no depth) as far as telling what each knob does tonally.  Anybody else try one of these out?  Any useful setting?  Not a bad pedal, but IDK if its for me.

Have you ever tired the Swollen Pickel?  Its worth buy just for the name.

Re: Way Huge Porkloin

I would most definitely like some views on these pedals!

I heard Joe saying the Pork Loin was a great usable pedal with some neat sounds...

Something I have been mulling over along with /VIBE/ pedals, since I am selling my Dunlop Univibe - though I might just put that in a thread.

Re: Way Huge Porkloin

Well after my week long demo (time to give it back tomorrow, but I'm buying a something else thats pretty special from him so I'll let you know about that bad boy smile ) I have to agree and say yea it sounds good and certainly has some useable tones, but not practical for me.  I didn't find anything it would be used for in my set up.  My cons - 1.  Manual (prob. the only person that reads this anyway lol) was lame on telling you a good description of how each dail functions and 2.  It changed my tone slightly when bypassed, otherwise I would have kept it.  Props for a cool name and look.
