Topic: Sonny Landreth in session on Paul Jones show 13 July

I don't know much about Sonny Landreth, but during last evening's interview and session I heard enough to make me want to hear more. Levee Town and bonus disc is my first purchase.

You can hear the show including Sonny's session and a bonus track, "Groovy Goddess" here:

Now I know why George was encouraging me to check him out when we chatted at Dingwalls in May. big_smile Sorry it took so long, George.

Hey Phil, check this song out - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VT_fppbDZm4

It's off the 'Grant Street' cd, which Cathy and I both highly recommend. I'm also supposed to tell you from Cathy that this number, 'Wind in Denver' is her idea of a 'stripper' song, kind of real raunchy with that 'get down and dirty' sound. big_smile cool
