I guess all you bikers should also be thrilled by the fact that the legend that is Valentino Rossi won his 100th race at Assen today, leading from pole to finish line.
By the way US fans, next weekend is Laguna Seca!
Happy for him, on the track I have never seen anything like him. His riding is unbelievable!!!
Here is an interview after his day out at the Isle of Man, you can find ohter links with some vids of him going round for a lap.

It ain't over till the BigDog rides! That's like having a 10" ... I am not worthy...
I have a Tshirt that my kids bought me a few years back. Says "Big Dog Dad" on the front. On the back:
"I AM the fear factor!"
My ride. Bigdog Pitbull.
That is a thing of beauty.
BeerDog - you ride a HardTail!?
MAN! I'm not even 30 years old and I can't ride one of those things!

I give you credit! You feel every bump. Is that at least a rubber mounted engine or do you feel every RPM too?
You know, all of this talk about motorcycles sort of inspired me again to purchase one and so, that's what I did. You must consider though, I am of advanced age and darn near killed myself on one years ago. That meant I can't be hopping on one of those Cafe Racers or Harley Hogs that you all ride. So, I bought one that I thought was appropriate for me and then headed over to my favorite biker bar in the Falls to show it off. Here's my machine, it's the red one:

Brother...I'm only 28 and that bike has over 55k miles.
but I do cheat...I hardly ever ride this anywhere I have not driven my car first. If the road is crappy...I don't ride. It will kick you right off if your not careful. But I ride it A LOT. During the warmer months, I'll ride it to work and back. 100 miles round trip. Only problem I've ever had was a slight oil leak. $100 dollar fix and two hours of my time.
No mounts (newer ones have it apparently) but with an engine this big, it wouldn't help much. I usually wear special earplugs (Surefire EP3's) cause it is LOUD. I've kept this so long since they only made this particular version of the Pitbull for a very short time. My dealership freaked when they saw the mileage when I took it in for new tires earlier this year.
I'm diggin that candy red on yours. Looks real good. A buddy of mine used to have one almost identical to that one down in Georgia. A very smooth ride!

Thanks. The bike was regular yellow from the factory, I added the pearl yellow to the top and my pops did the airbrush work. It's actually a 'skullified' image of him since he has (had) the hippie hair. His bike is even nicer.
Also a Bigdog (the apple does not fall far from the tree) That the uncle on the left. His ride is at bottom. Old school. Owned it since it came off the factory line.

I live in Edgewater and work in Daytona. I'm there.
as you might be able to tell from my avatar I am a bit of a Ducati fan, - had a few, - 900Superlight, 916 (the best), 1000 Multistrada, but currently Ducati-less due to economic climate so just the BMWR1200GS at the moment.
With 2 young kids most of the riding that I get to do now is the commute into the office in central London....
Any body coming to Daytona for Biketoberfest that wants a little local "finesse" finding a room, just email me.
I'll do my best to help. Better do it soon, though. I might be grumpy 5 minutes from now.
