Topic: Joe's wrist watch.

On Joe's photo on the web home page he is wearing what looks like
a rather smart wrist watch.
Does anyone know what make and model this is ??

i know from experience Joe does his best to be on time all the time. once he was stuck in traffic and a little bit late for something he was quite apologetic about it

Actually Jane, Joe then shoud have a Timex. You know, "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!" Get it? Lick as in song? wink Oh, never mind! roll

I do remember Joe saying something about getting used to the new watch because it was heavier. Don't want to slow up that left hand during "Woke Up Dreaming", right? smile

I'm betting it's a "Breitling" http://www.breitling.com/en/ , but that's just a guess!

Joe I have the Tag "Professional".

I bought it at Costco here in Canada of all places and saw it in Europe for the same price BUT Euros compared to Canadian dollars!!!!!

I suggest you check Costco for your next one. By the way, it does keep great time but my solos on any of my guitars do not seem to sound as good as yours.....:D:D

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

Re: Joe's wrist watch.

Re: Joe's wrist watch.

Ah yes, expensive watches. I have a very nice dressier watch, but for daily use I wear my Timex Indiglo. Now don't laugh......I've had this watch for I think about 10 years and it keeps perfect time. The only time that I have to reset it is every 6 months when daylight savings begins or ends. During that 6 month period of time, it stays right on the very minute from the previous 6 month setting. Total cost was about $40 when I bought it. But hey, I don't care how much $$$ you spend, if a watch doesn't keep very good time, it's worthless. smile

How about a limited edition Joe Bonamassa Tag for the store? That would be the must have piece of merchandise! big_smile

Well Rocket, I wouldn't say they are worthless. Without a watch, we might have showed up late to Joe's RAH gig. Now THAT would have been bad. They serve a purpose, but one should never be a slave to time.

Speaking of time, isn't it time to have a bloody mary? wink

Re: Joe's wrist watch.

Talking of watches, i used to wear one, but never felt comfortable with it. I had a couple, but now i don't wear one, and i don't miss having one. If i need to know the time, i look at my iPod!

YOU might have showed up at The Royal Albert Hall late.  I got there early and I did it multiple times including before the Lido Cafe, where I met many others (strangers) at Royal Albert Hall EARLY.  My watch is actually a sophisticated pulse monitor and pedometer, now that's useful and worth something.  Hmmm suddenly 2 months later I wonder if that was The Mrs., Debbie Moody I saw sitting outside on the steps facing the Royal Music Academy hours
prior to the show when I was just taking photos????

Re: Joe's wrist watch.

So does anyone know what watch Joe was wearing in the Beacon Theatre DVD - It's oversize and really nice

Re: Joe's wrist watch.

Joe's watch is cool.
i like simple watches, not those things that are covered with diamonds and they're size is big enough to make is tough for you to raise your hand, or the ones that have probably every colour you can think of in them... NOW THAT IS AN ACCESSORY NOT A WATCH!!!
i know some people that prefer watches with those small calculators so that they can cheat in exams! haha...
