I was about to apologize for getting the score wrong.
Then I discovered that Michael had posted it.

Hmmm
There has been lots of commentary that Fed is smug, did not give enough credit to Andy and that he had a sweater ready with "15" embossed on it.
Unless he said something I did not see, he was very complimentary to Roddick. Regarding the sweater thing, I guess all of the team sports that prepare championship caps and sweaters for the players to put on as soon as the match/game is over, are also smug......
Fed may not be the greatest of all time (that accolade is debated and debateable in ALL sports) but he is the greatest of our time for sure.....
So will Fed win again today making it 16 and 6 US Opens in a row? Had to feel sorry for Djoker yesterday, he played sooo well and yet Fed did this to him:

He reckons that was his best shot ever. Poor Djoko's face!
The Fed-express has got too many guns for the young contender.
I loved the story behind Kim Clijsters being a young mom and making it back on the tennis circuit in a big way. Kim was the first unseeded woman to win a US Open....let alone beat Serena and Venus!!!
It seems like the string of outrageous behavior had something in common...their last names begin with "W" and two were named Williams. West, Williams and Williams... I know McEnroe was outrageous, I don't recall him being threatening; Serena seemed especially threatening and I think Serena is bigger and more intimidating. I thought her behavior was totally outrageous and I think she is a poor loser, she knew she was going down and lost her temper because she didn't want to admit defeat. IMHO I think she got off easy.
Anyway, Kim's husband is a local Jersey guy and use to play for my favorite basketball team. He played basketball in Europe for a while and is now married to a beautiful tennis queen playing the role of Mr. Mom. Life is Good!

ESPN magazine came yesterday and Serena Williams is nude on the cover. (this may have been in the works & contracted pre-temper tantrum) BUT
Serena Williams on ESPN's cover = Rewarding Bad Behavior (IMHO)
