Topic: Beijing Blues
In honor of Warren's mention that Joe is planning shows in Japan and China for September, I thought I'd mention the band Woodie Alan from Beijing. Yes there is Blues in China. Woodie Wu and Alan Paul are 2 of the members. Alan wrote the Expat Life column for the Wall Street Journal (which I enjoyed a lot) and used to write for Guitar World among other magazines. Just a thought Joe but maybe this will help in your search for World Blues artists to jam with.
