Topic: Clapton and Winwood Denver

This was my second time seeing Clapton... I will say he was much better this time.... and that's saying something!

He was in fine form, as was Winwood. HTCT was great as an opener, but the highlight for me was either Driftin' or Forever Man. cool

Clapton played as fast as i've ever heard him play.

He and Winwood seemed very impressed with the keyboard player throughout the show.

One side note: Clapton was limping noticeably on and off the stage.... anyone know anything about some sort of injury?

i know this is a horrible sum up of the show, but I'm very tired and wanted to get it down before i go to bed. I will post more. unfortunately no Pics or videos sad

I too was at this concert.  What a great show.
Clapton sounded phenomenal.
The band included the legendary Willie Weeks on bass, Chris Stanton on keys and Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums.

I was surprised to see Abe on drums.... last time i saw him was when he was with Paul McCartney.

I absolutely loved the show.... well worth getting home "After midnight" (pun intended).
