Real life is so much better than movies....
Big congrats!!! I have a "Rachel" too. I tried to see the pics, but I guess I should just be happy to be able to post (whacked computer for now). Your children will be happy to have each other later in life. So, that's 3 more future fans of good music, Bravo!!! Remember to pamper your wife and tell her congrats too. Cathy

Picture #1 Both young Mom & Dad Smiling in hospital room, Mom in bed, Dad close with one arm over the rail, mom cradling with one arm baby Rachael and patting softly with the other hand to close the "swaddling" as mothers are natural to do
#2 B/W close up of her angelic face with it's inverted Elvis lip (one half of her lower lip is curled under her upper rather than the upper being curled up & away from the lower lip) curl.
#3 B/W Kiss scene of both Mom with the picturesque lovely motherly eyes closed "sniffing" (yes we know you do do that ladies) her baby while kissing her (on the side temple) look and Dad with his eyes slightly open as an insurance policy short facial whiskers are gently placed on little baby's head (top). Li'l angel is off to the "outside world" dreamland newborns are eager to visit
#4 Color picture of Baby Sister (3???) and Mommy sitting up, blond little girl skooched up against brunette Mom, but no baby on the Mom's lap where the pillow sits. She sort of stares at the pillow as if li'l sister has just exited stage right and maybe will be back for an encore soon. The green sucker to help her feel included is upside down in her hand.
#5 Color of Dad and son in chair by bed, a little blurry but we see dad has an Eagles Greatest Hits Tshirt on. Son has on brown t shirt with colorful letters spelling "Brother". Boy is on Dad's left, li'l baby is held dantily (not like a guitar) by Daddy. She seems to be raising her right hand and trying to form the "Rock" sign!!!
Very nice Thanks Arnold and Mrs. D and Family!

Dude, you have way too much time on your hands.
Though I'm sure that Cathy will appreciate reading your excellent descriptions whenever she next manages to spend any time on the forum.

Without even trying

Rocket, I am right there with you. Great family pics! They have FOX news on all day at work and it is nothing but turmoil & trouble....so much more refreshing to look at baby & family pics!
Thanks for sharing them with us. You have a beautiful wife & kids!
pattyluvs
It is great family pics. It may be more refreshing to look at these pics but I just have to interject something here with this post. Real life isn't always better than the movies, sometimes it is and sometimes it aint. I am sorry that the world's troubles bother you to even look at it. Just actually think if you were living it. Those people that you are watching on Fox would probably like to have the enjoyment that is shared with this family and their newborn. There is more turmoil in actually living it then watching it. Please be aware that what is happening is about change at the highest cost to these people so they can be happier and share moments like these.
Nothing against you just please try to understand the real ramifications.
Absolutely precious photos, Arnie! Congratulations to you. By this time I'm certain Baby Rachel is already sleeping through the night, right?? (one can hope!)
(Rocket, wonderful written descriptions of the photos. I think your "captions" need to be viewed along with the photos. I particularly like your take on Rachel's raised right arm in the last pic! )
What a lovely family you have, Arnie.
Nah not quite sleeping through the night. She gets up around 1am then again about 3 or 4 am, and then again around 6 or 7. Its not bad for me but my wife is breast feeding so its been very hard on her this week. She says its not fair I get to sleep like a baby when she's already had to go through so much. God Bless Her!

Congratulations Arnie to you both.
I bet it's not much fun having a Caesarean I have read that it takes a lot longer to recover from than a 'normal' delivery. Throw in the breast feeding too and I bet Mum's feeling pretty battered!
She certainly deserves a medal in my book.
The pics are gorgeous.
I hope you have happy, healthy days ahead.

A belated congrats to you and the wife from Cali land....beautiful family you have there
