What an amazing series!
Kudos to the Pens for doing something that RARELY happens in ANY sport:
Winning a game 7 championship game on the road.
I think the last team to do it was that baseball team from Pittsburgh .

What was truly amazing that Pittsburgh won 4 of the last 5 games in the series. Also, they closed out each of their series on the road. Philadelphia in 4, Washington in 7, Carolina in 4, and of course Detroit in 7 all on the road. That is very impressive!!

Yes the Pens deseved it....but above all it was also Mario's inspiration to uplift their spirts after that 5-0 loss @ Detroit.
I think this whole town has gone crazy...I wish I was down at the Victory Parade right now...........:)
P/s The Pirates might be next...then that would be 3 Championships in one year!!!!
